I broke a nail earlier and clipped all of them to be the same length so that they wouldn’t look weird now I have forgotten how to type with my finger tips. This feels so weird. It’s like my hands are shorter. I actually feel shorter, like my whole height is shorter. What is going on? I am experiencing what we refer to in the Philippines as a melt down. And how exactly do I know that when I have never even been to the Philippines? its like I am a different person YE GODS I don’t know how to make a fist anymore, I am not at all certain I could properly defend myself in a rousing bout of fisticuffs. My entire life is under question right now.

Starry Night Manicure
This is China Glaze Up All Night (midnight blue) with a few different glitters over it to imply the layers of stars.
I feel like my right hand looks much better because there is more “empty space” at the base of the nails. But alas, I couldn’t get a decent picture taken.

The China Glaze Colours From The Capitol collection releases on March 1st and The Hunger Games premieres on March 23rd.
Here, they run about $5-$6 per bottle. I’ll definitely be getting Riveting, Electrify and Smoke and Ashes. I’ll probably pick up Harvest Moon and cry over Rue as I paint my nails. because of reasons.
The original names they released were very different, and I liked them much better.
As a reader of The Hob pointed out, the new polish names coincide with the specialties of each district.

I painted my nails yesterday morning with Sally Hansen Insta-Dri “Fast Dry Nail Color” in Bronze Ablaze with Essie Matte About You top coat. Within 8 hours, they were worn as shown above.
Don’t know if it’s the polish or the top coat, but I am not happy.
I cooked a meal, did some dishes, did some housey stuff, but it’s not like I was building a house. I have no idea how this polish got this kind of tip wear in that amount of time but I am not thrilled. I should take a picture of how they look less than 30 hours later, they are a chipped mess. It’s ridiculous.
I somehow expect my manicures to last longer than one day. Silly me.
